2001 200 hp XR6 Carbs will not accelerate under load

Wont run pass 1100 rpm under load! Compression good, rebuilt fuel pump, new fuel line and ball.
Tested spark 7/16 at all plugs. Revs fine in water in neutral. Does not increase speed if I pump ball.
In gear on trailer will rev ok . Question is , tried spraying fuel in carbs both in gear under load and on trailer.
Does not increase rpms? Fells like fuel problem . Tried seperate gas tank with new gas! If carbs are gummed up
would spraying gas in carbs still increase rpms? Any ideas?? Know could be stater , cm , cdm. but with good spark?

Well take a different kind of spark test. Inductive timing light on each cylinder in turn and see if she sparks on all 6. If you do it under load, the test will be better. Is throttle linkage advancing trigger? Is it opening carb throttle plates?

Unless its badged "Nitro"..........Marketing thing with Merc and Nitro.

Thanks for the replies. Understand XR6 is a 150 carbs but on my engine cover says 200 XR6 Nitro Series.
Say probably just a Nitro thing! Throttle plates open fine , went through carbs , reed valves look ok.
Good idea on timing light, going to try and take to lake and test under load. Think testing spark one at a time ok.
When I bought boat one of the voltage regulators ( upper) was disconnected.? Thinking maybe a voltage problem and might have damaged magnets ? Thinking about going there next? Going to try and test Voltage regulators. Getting 14 volts off batteries when running. Wish I could test under load at home!

Never had a chance ta "look" inside a 200 XR6 ta see if its really a 200 or 150. Could be a carb 200 with tha "cool" XR6 logo for Nitro's sake!!!

Being an "lectronic motor" ya may need some testin' information for tha components. If one of tha reg was unplugged its a good sign its bad. Tha ecm is gonna need ta be checked along with tha stator and etc........
