2001 135 Optimax tilt/trim problem

I have twin 135 optimax motors. Both -up until yesterday- raise and lower at the same speed. When I raised the port motor yesterday it locked at "2.7" according to the trim gauge. A friend suggested greasing the pivot shaft. I did this morning and it began working, slowly. I worked it up and down several times and thought it was good, so off fishing we went. When we got back to the slip it would not raise.<br /><br />Each motor has one large tilt motor with two smaller hydraulics on either side. I'm guessing these are the trim. When I raise or lower the starboard motor the volt gauge indicates a load, it falls from 12+ to 11+. Activating the tilt/trim switch for the port motor does nothing to the volt meter, telling me it might not be getting juice.<br /><br />The tilt switch is on a Quicksilver throttle. Not sure which model. Both switches are on the end of the port motors throttle handle, if this helps.<br /><br />Any suggestions where to look will be greatly appreciated.
