motor started bogging down last trip. limped back,went through the fuel system, cleaned carbs etc.....put it back in the water, same issue, getting worse. Stalled and no start. Got it back to the yard, started checking systems out ( I know, should have done this first) 125 psi in all cylinders, good spark to 1 & 3. No spark on 2 & 4...Swapped coil sides, still nothing on 2 & 4..rectifier and stator check ok.....is there a bench test for the CDI? did I miss something?

service manual should have the steps for testing ignition system.

need the proper testing equipment, and check peak voltages loaded and unloaded as they set out in manual.
good voltages into CDI but bad out only on some cylinders would lead me to think of a very rare CDI failure if wiring is not a problem
