Just bought this boat, Tank in boat is full but will not fill up the engine tank, pump, filter, hoses are all good and checked. The manual fill up switch does not work. I put a ground from the boat tank pump, to the ground on the switch and then it works, also when the alarms goes off the pump turns on, or if I disconnect the oil level sensor in the engine tank the alarm will sound and it will fill. But will never automatically fill and stay on the high level. Also Only a few of my gauges work, trim doesn't work, I don't believe there is a trim and oil harness even going back to the motor. I don't know if that will affect the auto fill or not. I would think it's a bad ground maybe in between the switch and the boat tank considering the manual switch does not work? I have read so many posts and can't seem to find anything that I have going on. Wiring diagram I can check to test all the wires on the engine? Also put a new harness from boat oil tank to engine. So that checks out also.
