First of all let me start by saying that I have searched the net and these forums till my eyes have crossed and to no avail.
I have a YAMAHA VZ150TLRY HPDI Manufactured 01/00.
When I turn the key to the start position the engine will turn over and run as long as I hold the key in the start position (cranking), but as soon as I let the key return to the run position it dies.
I've replaced the fuel water seperator filter with the RACOR bowl type.
I've replaced the fuel filter element in the bowl under the cowl.
I removed and inspected the VST filter in the float chamber and it was clean.
I've also replaced the two Low Pressure fuel pumps.
I'm tired of throwing parts at it.
Any ideas?
I was thinking maybe the ignition switch or kill switch may be faulty?
Thanks in advance. John
