My temp gauge has not worked since I have had boat for 4years and figure it is time to fix it. But I can not locate where it is. Can find oil pressure and overheat switch but not the temp sender ?? The microfiche don't show actual location. Was told it should be in block on side of engine but nothing there. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Look around the thermostat housing.

Finally found it hidden under the hoses in thermostat housing.... Thanks Don... wiggled wires and I think it is working now... although it only moved up slightly above 100.... what would the normal running temp be in 18 degree celcius water????

Typically, a raw water cooled engine will run around 165-170?F when under load out on the water.
