I am in the process of rebuilding a 951 engine and found a marble size bearing in the hull and have no idea where it belongs. Is it from under the flywheel cover, oil pump? Or could it be from the crank? Old engine has a hole in the cases - but like I said this bearing is a little smaller than a marble.
Thanks
Ed

great engines but they are known for water ingestion and grenading, most likely it is a crank berring . all the berrings on the crank are round .
