I have a 50 hp 4 stroke it ran great and then oil alarm went off found it was sensor fixed. Went back out i have a low end knock metal sound and cant get off of plane then it will cut off and smoke will back fire through carbs i cant find any yamha mech in my area and im new to 4 stroke the compression is 170 170 170 165 when i tie it to dock and put in gear it winds up knocking goes away noticed it will idle high for about 20 seconds then idle back down if looked every were for a 2000 model 50 hp power head no one has one new motor cost $5,000 hate to go there but i need my boat up and running any help thanks oil clean no fuel in oil
