2000 MERCURY 2.5L EFI 2 STROKE

Just purchased a 2000 Champion with a 150 efi. When I turn the key on before starting, I get 3 quick beeps. Nit sure what this means. Also tried to test low oil sensor and I never get a beep or horn ever even when moving float. Any help would be much appreciated. I do have 5 volts at blue wire.

tha "beeps" at first turn of tha key are self test beeps for tha oiler warning module.. if oiler is intact and being used ya gotta oiler and/or module problem if they don't sound...

sounds like ya might have a bad sensor on tha float.. are you holding tha float down for a minute or two?.. seems like they don't sound when its justa a quickie...
