2000 mercury 150 xl good or bad?!

Seeing what you guys thought a about a 2000 mercury 150 xl optimax saltwater motors? Not sure on hours. Says runs great. They good motors? There wanting 4100 dollars. Never used in saltwater. Worth it? Located in Des Moines,
Iowa. If anyone got something close let me know also. Thanks.

get a compression check and see what the compression differences are between cylinders. There should be no more that 10-15 psi difference between cylinders. No cylinder should have less than 100 psi. Price is in the ball park if price include prop and controls?
