I refuse to spend 400+ dollars on a flywheel for 1 magnet. With that being said does anyone know where I could find a used one? I’ve searched eBay and have called a few salvage yards from Florida to Austin Texas and I’m having zero luck. I found a 70hp flywheel for 50 bucks with what looks to be identical magnets that I could remove and put on my flywheel but I have no idea what the dimensions of the magnets or the flywheel on the 70hp.

No, the epoxy came loose resulting in breaking 1 of the magnets. Its ate up to where I can’t even glue the broke one back together

Yep flywheels are darn expensive, 70 HP magnets could be bit larger/wider than the 25 HP ones ? other issue is how to remove properly without breaking them. Search for a Tohatsu M30A4 second hand flywheel, both 25 and 30 HP shares same.

Man there’s nothing out there. I see 40s and 50s all day long on eBay. It’s irritating.

It's irritating and frustrating. Have you tried running the motor with 3 magnets, don't have the slight idea how the motor will handle that situation ?
