Does anyone know about the wake of a 2000 Larson 206 Lxi. I am considering purchasing my first boat. We do not want a dedicated ski boat. We are novice skiiers. I am looking for a "kind" wake. My brother has a Sea Ray run about and the wake is a lot bigger than I can handle. This Larson has a 250 hp 5.0 liter volvo penta motor. We will be able to test drive but too cold to test ski. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2008 LXI 208 and I slalom ski behind it. The wake is fairly flat at e 25MPH and up. If you plan on skiing slower than that you will have a fairly good sized wake to jump. Not that it can't be handled. My 13 year old crosses with ease and he skis at about 28MPH . I usually ski at 33mph and the wake is very flat. Around 20mph it is a good novice wakeboarding wake.
You will enjoy that boat.
