2000 Johnson 200hp J200PLSSC SHIFT ROD HIEGHT MEASUREMENT v6 90

Changing water pump--messed up -- and need the shift rod height. Have the repair book, but can't find it. I think it is 21-15/16, but not sure. She goes into forward and reverse, and neutral, but it takes a long time and grinding the gears. I was working before. I think i turned the rod a turn or took it off in neutral and put it back on in reverse. HELP

Thanks. I found the chart in the manual this morning. I saw two different measurements for a V6 90 degree. One for cross flow and one for Looper. I did not know which I had. I think Looper, but not sure. I will read more on the forum to determine. Do you know how i can tell?
