Not sure what you mean. Are you saying the motor runs at that setting (10 turns)?

Yessir I recently found out that my hoses had gummed up so I took the carburetors apart had them all cleaned and everything and my low speed idle screws were turned out 10-hole turns and I have read where some people said start at 5 and some people said two the reason I'm asking is because when I modeling out to the lake it runs a little rough so I did not know if that had anything to do with it or not

If it's now running well except for the idle, readjust the needles 1/8 turn at a time, and test. I would start by adjusting clockwise (leaner). If the engine stalls or coughs (lean sneezes), adjust 1/4 turn counter clockwise and test -- may be close with that setting.

Yes. 10 is too much (would be like running without the needles, imo). Sounds like an attempt to correct other carb issues.

good boating to you!

Set em 5-1/2 turns out from a light seat, engine has to be in water, warmed up, trimmed level and in gear to adjust..You can get it close leaving it on trailer.
