2000 Honda 8hp Head Gasket

I'm replacing a bad exhaust valve on a 2000 Honda 8hp and have a couple questions not answered in the service manual. Do I need to use a gasket sealer with the new head gasket and is there a sequence to tighten the head bolts?. The manual just says tighten to 16lbs

If the new gasket has a kind of dried brown glue on both sides just torque it dry to specs. How many bolts do you need to torque ?

No sealant, the service manual would have an arrow with an icon if it required sealant. Just make sure to not to forget the o-ring. When the manual does not state a specific pattern should default to the start at in the middle and spiral outwards which isn't hard with only 6 bolts.

I have the motor re assembled and running however the green oil light becomes dimmer the higher the rpm
