I am assuming the PDP is bad but hoping someone that actually knew what they were doing could advise.

This issue has occurred on a couple of occasions. After starting/running normally I would shut my motor down and go about my business. Minutes later when I returned to try to start the motor and/or tilt the motor (with either throttle or cowling switch) it would not respond. Basically acted like the battery was completely off. The last time it happened I more or less touched the middle 15amp fuse on the Power Distribution Panel and everything would work normally again.

Fast forward to yesterday and the same scenario. However this time when I messed with the fuses/relays on the PDP while pushing the trim/tilt button all I would here was a buzzing sound from the relays until finally nothing. I ended up taking out the PDP and removing the back cover which apparently is glued on (no plastic pressure tabs). Everything looked ok and I sprayed it with electrical cleaner but I cannot get the board out to inspect the tabs on the fuse side. Before I put everything back together does anyone know of something specfically I can check on the PDP? Or should I just order a replacement? Ebay has several available. Thanks!

Get out the voltmeter or test light and follow 12 volts. When you lose it you found the problem. Throwing parts at a problem is an expensive and ineffective way to troubleshoot. There is obviously some corrosion on or around that area. Did you ever "replace" the fuse rather than just mucking with it. Fuses can be intermittent as well.

UPDATE!............ FIXED!! :D:D:D:D:D:D

I took a closer look at the PDP. I noticed one of the solder points was broken/loose. Dropped some solder on it and put everything back on to test. Works perfectly now. Fingers crossed this solves it permanently!
