I am about to swap out my 1982 DT140 for a 2000 DT140.
Do I need to buy the Browns Point $600 box and wiring harness (part#67200-87d51) or can the box and harness from my 1982 be modified. I am getting a variety of answers. Carb vs EFI is the issue. I cant find anything used in that part# and can't cross reference for any other box and harness which would work.
