2000 bravo 5.7 efi timing question

On my boat with 5.7 EFI I only have a V mark on timing cover and a notch on the balancer. With A-B terminals jumpered is 8 degrees center lined or is it starbrd of the V mark on timing cover?

Those marks are TDC marks. You need to get either some 'timing tape' or an advance timing light...
