I have a 2000 Tracker "Special Edition" Tournament 18V. I'm having some type of sediment clogging up my engine infectors. The small fuel filter is stopping the larger stuff but some still getting through. Can only assume that something in the tank is causing this. Anyone got the info on how to remove the fuel tank for cleaning or another (better) idea?? I could add another/better gas filter but if is does not work then more money to clean the infectors again...

Welcome aboard

Clean your tank

here is a thread that covers tank cleaning in-situ. look at post #5

do you have the trailer for it. if so, cleaning the tank will be easy.

drain all the gas
pull the sender
pour in 4-5 gallons of acetone
make a cover to cover the sender hole
find the bumpiest road you have and drive up and down it like your hair is on fire for about 45 minutes
drain the sludge
repeat
drain again
fill with 10 gallons of fuel
repeat run down road
drain again
replace sender
fill with fuel
put new filters in system
go boating

dispose of the acetone and fuel according to your local laws....

You could add a canister filter and a low pressure pump before your small filter. Either connect direct to the ignition feed, or use a relay
