i have a 35 hp 3 Cly oil injected Johnson, could someone please explain where to connect the hoses to the check valve and boost ports? There are three boost port elbows (#1 at the top,#2 in the middle and#3 at the bottom) and three check valves nipples (again #1 at the top just under the #1boost port and ... #3 at the bottom) there is a elbow at the bottom of the fuel delivery manifold that goes to a "T". how does all this tie into each other? Thank you for any help

What is the model number of your outboard? The fuel manifold goes on the left side of the outboard just like your drawing. The tee at the bottom goes to the fuel primer. The other three lines go under the carb they attach to. There is a brass elbow on the left side of the carb that the incoming fuel hose attaches to.

For the recirc hoses and check valves they attach to Item 5 but I am not sure where they connect from there

If you haven't removed the Oil tank and mixing chamber get rid of it. They are prone to failure the check valves in the mixing chamber have a tendency to fail and will let gasoline into the oil tank diluting the oil before you know it you are running 200:1 or less and your engine is dead.

Thanks hidef it's Model # J35PLSS , i did find some info on the same attachment you sent but it just left me scratching my head
it did not cover all 3 boost ports and or check valves. I did not think the 2 #5 recerc elbows tied into the boost ports or check valves,
(#38) HOSE, #1 Transfer port check valve to #3 boost port elbow,
(#10) ELBOW, Boost port (there are three on the engine)
(#12) CHECK VALVE, Transfer port (there are three of these on the engine as well)
(#39) HOSE, #3 Transfer port check valve to tee,
(#41) HOSE, Tee to #2 boost port elbow
(#40) HOSE, #3 Manifold elbow to tee
(#42) HOSE, Lower main elbow to upper main elbow (this is to lubricate the upper bearings from the lower bearing)
(#5) ELBOW, Recirc., upper & lower main (2 are an the engine one upper and on lower for bearings)
(#6) NIPPLE, Pulse (two on engine )
