Had an occasional issue end of last season. After a long idle ride down a long canal we bogged down and stalled.Primer bulb needed pumping and started right up .Did this a few times while canal idling.always needed primer bulb pumping.Changed out fuel water sep, main fuel filter on motor, both fuel pumps and VST filter. Also 2 cycle oil filter(what a stupid placement of that filter) .Did I miss anything?? Havnt taken it for a run yet.Charlie

Check the anti-siphon valve.
If it sticks open or is missing, a leak upstream will allow the fuel to drain back into the tank

No.....the anti-siphon valve is typically built into the fitting where you connect the fuel line to the tank.

Bear in mind that this can only be a problem if you have a leak (vacuum) somewhere in the fuel system.

Is the tank vent clear? Make sure all hose clamps are tight and secured. I had the same problem once and found a loose hose clamp.
