200 yamaha injector problem

hi i can use and suggestions for this problem, i have a 2000 yamaha 200hp<br />it is getting good spark and has oil<br />in the filled at the motor, now the <br />problem is the fuel injectors are not <br />working! is there a fuse that controls<br />this or is there a shut off from the <br />oil saying it does not have any?<br /><br />i have narrowed this problem down to this<br />because if i spray mixed gas into the carb<br />it will fire then stopes after gas is gone.<br /><br />thanks

Have you tested the fuel pressure to see if the high pressure pump is working and delivering fuel to the injectors?

at this point i have not checked anything <br />on the fuel other than cleaning the fuel<br />filter, i thought asking this question<br />might be quicker than digging into something<br />i have not been into before.<br />no i am going out to see if i get anything<br />out of the high pressure fuel pump

ok after further work i have found that <br />the high pressure fuel pump has no power<br />i have looked all over and cannot where it<br />gets the power from or why it is not working.<br /> i dont know if this problem is from the <br />fuel injectors or the powerpack?

THE SIGNAL FOR THE HIGH PRESS PUMP COMES FROM THE ECU .THERE IS A FUSE BETWEEN THE ECU AND THE PUMP.I WOULD LOOK AT THE FUSE MORE SO THAN THE ECU.BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW THERE IS NO POWER AT THE HIGH PRESS PUMP IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW,THE PUNP DOES NOT HAVE POWER ON IT AT ALL TIMES.WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY ON IT WILL SIGNAL ECU TO START THE PUMP BUT THIS ONLY LAST ABOUT 3 SECONDS IF THE MOTOR DOES NOT START.SO YOU REALLY NEED TO HAVE A METER ON THE PUMP WHERE YOU CAN SEE IT AS SOON AS YOU TURN THE KEY ON

when the key is turned on the second motor<br />the pump does turn on just before them motor<br />starts, on the bad motor no pump action<br />and no gas pressure like the other.<br />i looked for the fuse but could not locate<br />one between the pump and the power box<br /><br />any info is helpful
