On two separate occasions this season my 1998 200 EFI has stalled during idle. It starts running rough for a few seconds then stops. It happened during trolling, after running along at idle for at least 15 minutes. In order to get it going I had to squeeze the fuel bulb a few times. I do a lot of trolling and this has only happened twice, which seems strange. Otherwise the engine starts easy and runs fine at all speeds. I have visually checked the fuel lines and connections from the tank and they look OK.

Hi Gee Bee - I'm no mechanic so I don't have an answer to your situation but rather an application suggestion being that you troll alot. I'd first look into getting a kicker (four-stroke preferably) rather than running a $10,000 'power' engine at trolling speed all day. A heck of alot more efficient and better suited for draggin' baits.... just a thought and good luck Gee Bee I know it can be a bit frustrating.
