Hello, Anyone here have a new Tohatsu 20hp EFI? If so how do you like it? I am running a 1456 jon boat and currently have an 8hp Tohatsu on it. It is pretty slow with that motor though. Was looking at some older 2 strokes but the reason was the weight of the 4 strokes (and cost) Can't believe the 20 is only 94 lbs! The 8 is 85! Found one used for $1750. Toying with buying it. I know the 8 is a nice motor. The 20 will last for years so maybe go this route. Do you guys think it would be ok on this size boat?

The 9.9/15/20E is very stable and smooth. Very low fuel consumption. I have sold about 4, and the only complaint was that it had more power than expected, so we had to increase prop pitch.

Yes I am hoping for power. The boat with a 8 is slow... real slow. Just not sure I want to spend that much on this boat. It looks like a great deal so will have to jump quick if I want it I think.
