2 -stroke fuel /oil ratio

Hi there,<br /><br />I have a 2-stroke 15hp Mercury outboard that's about 10 years old. The forward, neutral and reverse control is in the tiller twist grip (thought this might help).<br /><br />I don't have the model or S/N but I can get it.<br /><br />Is the info I've given enough for someone to tell me the fuel/oil mixture ratio for this engine?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.

Mixture ratio is 50:1. <br /><br />One pint of TCW-3 rated outboard oil to six gallons of regular (87 octane) unleaded gasoline.

If you are still concerned, call any Merc. dealer and they will tell you the mixture.

it's usually on the front of the motor by the choke i have a mercury mariner and it says 50:1 i have a 25 horse
