Hello to all,

I have a couple of questions about this little boat I use for fishing.

1. The drain plug on this little Crestliner jon boat is in the bottom of the boat, its a srew in plug that is not in the lower transom but in the stern floor just behind the seat. Now, all of my other jons you could, while under way, drain the water from the boat by removing the plug. Can You drain while underway with this system?

2. While underway at wot or near WOT water comes in the boat from the sides and some seems to splash off the motor and into the boat, What can I do to stop this other than slow down?

Thanks,
sinkin in MO.

Re: 2 questions

I looked at the cav plate and I think you are correct, this is a short shaft motor and a short transom boat, What do you do to correct this?

This little boat seldomly has a battery for a bielge pump in it, I keep it as light as possible. I do not think you can drain the water with this type of plug but wanted to see if anyone has ever tryed it.

Re: 2 questions

If the drain plug is in the floor, you definitely CANNOT remove it while underway.
