2 Bank Battery Charger Placement

I am new here, so take it easy on me. I have a 2007 Triton TS 17 that I just bought from a guy, he gave me an old 2 bank Triton charger that his son had in it at one time. He took it out when he changed over to a 24V trolling motor. I have looked and can't find the previous holes where it was mounted and was hoping that someone could help me out, with where to place it. Looking back to front on my boat, there is a double male plug on the left hand side where the charger plugs in on the inside of boat and where your power supply plugs in on the outside of boat. Thanks for your help and I look forward to seeing what my options are.

Parts of this question don't really make sense.... you can put the charger anywhere you want to... if by double male, you actually mean male/female then place the charger close enough to it to plug in and run wires to the batteries from there

If it was a two bank charger, I don't know why he would have removed it because he switched to a 24 volt motor. Two banks = 12 x 2 = 24 volts when the two batteries are in series..

It was removed to make room for adding the 3rd battery. I asked a few marine mechanics and they said that if I had hooked up the bank charger to the 24 volt system as well as my cranking battery that I would have burned up the charger in a little while because it was a severe strain on it. I don't know, I just shook my head and smiled. But, I think the main reason was due to the limited room in the back.

You have more self control than I do. I think I would have laughed at them.
