After i had new rings, sleeves and pistons put in the waverunner ran great. I pulled it out, left it on the driveway and one day it rained alot. I put it in the garage dried everything and tried to start it and it did a slow... like battery about dead turn and then nothing. so i charged two batteries and not even a peep.... nothing. so i took it to the shop which cost me 126.00 for 1 hour of labor for then to tell me the battery and fuses r fine. Which i told them i checked this before i left it with them. So now i would like to see if i need to look at a possible ground wire loose or something in the digital gauges???

These motors are bomb proof and simple - Check your ground buy connecting a lead/wire between the negative and the engine case (anywhere) if that makes no difference crack open your electric box (look for black box with positive lead entering/leaving) - short the two red terminals in the box with a spanner and see if it kicks over (this bypasses the relay)- if it does your relay or start switch is toast..

When you said it rained was the seat on and or box fitted?
