I had it running great Saturday and Sunday. Then some friends took it out ran the fuel down and flipped it over. Im not sure if they flipped it back over the proper way- but i was in the boat pretty close to them. He kept playing with the on and reserve switch and couldn't get it started so i put it on reserve and told them to tow me in on it. As i was being towed it finally started as i just randomly hit the start button as we were cruising at pretty good speed. So i tell them to jump back on and take it to the house and fuel up. Once they fueled up now it wont start at all. turns over --good spark Any suggestions would b great thx. By the way if water was the problem can u just let it sit and dry out? OK now it fires up but just for a sec. and if i hold the throttle it goes for about 3 seconds and every now and then it backfires. Is there a adjustment screw i need to check on carburetor --and what is the number of turns from seated position should it b?

You could have a couple of things working against you. If it was towed by a boat, you could have gotten water into the cyclinders. These toys can not be towed without closing off the cooling line from the pump. You may have hydro locked the ski and may have to index your crank, this alings the piston to it's cylinder when the cylinder gets its spark. You could have water in the gas tank, check your seperator, is there water in with the gas. If so, drain your fuel tank and refill with fresh gas. It would be easier to diagnose what the proplem is if I was there.

Thank u -- well i got it started and ran it on the water for about 20 min then it slowed down alittle. so i stopped and let it idle and it died. It wants to fire up with the choke pulled out and i can get a rev in but no idle. there is a adjustment "T" handle screw on the side of the carburetor a buddy said he played with and i have no idea y and what it actually adjusts. Any info thx
