1999 yamaha xl 1200 loss of power

I have a 1999 xl 1200 that has lost power. I replaced the exhaust valves last year, pulgs are fine, no alarms it just dont have much power. Any suggestions????

check compression first.. then if it is ok you probably have fuel issues, carbs, old fuel etc

also be sure you did not drop an oil line if you are still using the oil pump,, very common problem with those, if you did the compression check will tell you because the cylinder will be toast
