Running the boat for about 3 hours, would make a oily water puddle mixture between valve cover gasket and manifold gasket (Between carb and valve cover)

Usually puddles around bolts and the pockets on top of the head.

Is this normal? Engine is running fine, spark plugs are pink colored, no bogging, oil level stable and doesn't get eaten up, no milk in oil either.

Another question, i have valve chatter, would you guys recommend opening up the valve cover to tighten them up ? Where would be a good place to get a valve cover gasket for it, seems nobody in town has them.

These pics are after the boat has been sitting in garage for 4 hours, most of it evaporated, leaving just the little oily residue, but you can see where its a bit moist, when on the water, you can clearly see a little "puddle" around bolts and such.

Looks to me your pvc valve hose is off. That is probably where your oil is coming from. While running next time look for a water leak. Discount auto should have a gasket felpro would be the best.
