Used is tough. Rebuilt is easy. Id have a hard time convincing myself to lay down on a used P. H . That I knew nothing about and could not test.

Thanks all here is the deal, guy had this motor for sale in a local trading post paper. He wanted 600. I work at a merc dealer and my cost on a new powerhead was like 1600. Anyway I call the guy he said he started the motor one day and it was hammer to beat all. said he had plenty oil in the oil tank and all but he let it idle there for a few next thing he knew, big hole in the block.......I had to laugh inside... It was to funny of a story. Anyway I doubt that the head is repairable so i didnt even go look at it.<br /><br />Hitman
