1999 Johnson 115 vs 1998 115 ocean runner

I have a 1999 Johnson 115 2 stroke with a dead cylinder. (0 compression, damaged rings)
I have a chance to buy a 1998 Johnson 115 Ocean Pro.
Would all the wiring and controls work if I was to swap.?
What is the difference other than the color (white vs black)?

I would not think there was much difference if any. I took a quick look at the exploded parts list on the crowleymarine.com web site. It looked to be identical to the '98.
