Under load, or in neutral?
Sorry, computer froze. Just got motor, took out on water once, did run ok up to 3500rpm, then bogged down any rpm's over 3500. Was afraid it might be a sign the fuel pump was going bad. Try it with muffs in gear. It will also clear out some, and rev up higher than 3500rpm on the muffs. Fuel pump with regulator built in is over $700. Can't afford it,to just be guessing. How do you 'load' it when running on muffs? Have a dyno?
How does it behave when running at sea?
Tryed new plugs today. How can i access those programs for the computer. Called dealer, wanted $$90. an hour. He was talking multiple hours to launch the boat to test it. Thanks for your input.Would not be surprised if you just have a failed spark plug, but the best might be to hook it to a computer and check for any error codes. You may use either the Johnson/Evinrude 4-stroke diag prg or a Suzuki prg. The EMM is a basic Mitshubishi design and have seen Mitsubishi prg work as well.
Will do, thanks again, and hagn.Try to locate your MAP sensor and check that connections are clean and no air-leak:
