1999 60 2 stroke sneezes at idle

I bought this engine new and it pops at idle if I adjust all 3 carbs for best idle.If I adjust the bottom carb another 2 turns out and leave the other carbs as set, the lean pop stops. Iv'e run it like this since new. Runs well but idle isn't as smooth as I like. Carb problem? Reed? Should there be that much of a difference in idle mixture screw settings?

You could have a little dirt or varnish in the idle circurt of that carb (try some fuel injecter or carb cleaner in the fuel) also ck the bleed lines--Bob
