1999 50 hp Johnson just tuned, has spark, fresh fuel,won't start

1999 50 hp Johnson just tuned, has spark, fresh fuel, won't start. Carbs were cleaned. Turns.over strong. I pulled plugs - they were wet - so gas is pumping. Dried them off. Still won't fire. Trailer not operable right now or would take back to mechanic. Any suggestions?

Why was it taken in for a " tune-up" as a tune-up is something from years ago.--Motors today generally do not go out of tune.-----Are you pushing the key in while cranking the motor over ?

Wrong terminology - cleaned carbs, changed plugs, adjusted carb The needle valves were set poorly so if wouldn't idle at Low RPMs. However always stared on first turn of key. Yes I am pushing key in... Understand that to be choke. Daselbee: "Plug. Wires switched?" Will switch plug wires as well - give it a try.

Issue solved. Just needed to increase throttle in neutral while starting. Runs great. Thanks for your assistance and attention to my problem.
