First time this season my Daughter took her boat out. She said it started hard. It was 90 degrees when she drove the hour to the lake she was boating on.
My guess is the outboard was really warm from the drive up and she pulled the choke out full. She said it finally started after she moved it in.
So my guess is the choke only needs to be pulled all the way out when the outboard's cold?
I know once it's running the choke does not need to be used the rest of the day.
The black outboard must have gotten real hot from the drive up, I would have thought the wind at 65 mph would have kept it cooler.
Thoughts?
