1999 16 foot crestliner pontoon 25 hp merc 23 inch logs going to do a motor upgrade

Loooking to get as much performance as possible top speed now 12mph gps
3rd Log or Water Glide
Do they make 3rd log for a 16 foot pontoon?
Water glide is about 10 foot long seems that might be great for performance or may make boat to bouyant and motor cavitate.
I have a 1990 60 hp Johnson 2 stroke with 18 hrs on motor So if I was to go with that motor and a 3rd toon or water glide?
I know boat is rated at 50 hp but will do extra cross member etc.
Just wondering what would be best best 3rd toon or Water Glide just not wanting boat to be so bouyant the prop loses contact with the water.
My toon is a mostly fishing pontoon But would like to get to my fishing holes quite a bit faster.
Also my 16 foot fits in my driveway perfect so not wanting a larger pontoon.

I would try just a bigger motor before I added anything else

I decided to go with a bigger boat and a bigger motor didn't end up trying either. New boat 22' starcraft 60hp mercury big foot.:joyous:

Probably the smartest move, you can drop a lot of time and money into a boat and not gain much at all.

And for the record I have never seen a 16 center tube, generally 20' is the smallest you can go with a tri.
