1998 xl760

ok i got a 1998 xl760 for free with a blown 760 completely thrashed rod throught the case and i had a 1996 waverunnerIII with a good motor bad hull its a 650 i got the motor in fine running great no problems at all while on the flush kit but when on the water keep blowing the exhaust water jacket off either one end or the other any suggestions?

Check for obstructions in the muffler it may be full of sand etc, remove it from the ski, wash it out shake it and see if a baffel is loose and floating around inside, also check the hoses for internal seperation where a part of it may be hanging down inside.
