1998 Nissan NSF5A Gear Case bolt size

I have a 1998 Nissan NSF5A . I replaced the impeller and then I could not get the Gear Case to fit back . I gave up on it and ended up losing the bolts to it . Does anybody know the size bolts I need to be looking for at the store ? Thanks .

Welcome to Iboats,

Before assembling back lower tail, must lightly grease drive shaft upper splines, if with difficulties inserting shaft onto crankshaft, turn flywheel by hand CW while pushing lower tail upward untill lower leg is fully inserted under middle leg, Check water pump grommet has made a good marriage with upper water tube or won't see engine peeing. The size is not mentioned in the spare parts manual, so any Samaritan having them apart should chime in to provide proper measurements for them.

The forward bolt is 6mm, with 10 mm head.

The aft bolt is larger diameter, and shorter

BOLT (10 MULTIPLE)

Each should have a washed under the head.

If you need the water pump bolts (come in the wp kit) they are also 6mm.
