I am looking at buying one for £900 but it needs new electronics in it since the previous owner didn't fasten the battery down is it worth it or not

If it’s just battery wires and maybe a fuse...yeah it’s worth it. If it’s the whole wiring loom...maybe not. Likely only worth about £1500-£1800 tops in good nick and a roller trailer.
