I have a 98 Waverunner...the problem I first noticed and dont know if it has anything to do with anything, but the gauges for speed, fuel, etc do not light up but the security system display does. After about 3 times out in the water, the start button wouldnt start the waverunner. It was either a hit or mis, and now it wont start at all, but you will hear a faint clicking under steering column. We seem to have power all the back to the relay (solenoid) due to bridging the wires and it wanting to turn over and the starter seems to be fine, but when jumping the solenoid it clicks and nothing happens - does not turn over...Can it be the solenoid? Does this sound right? Now I have a solenoid from a 2001 waverunner XL700, would it hurt to use this solenoid in it's place?? Thanks
