major issues are usually easier to diagnose…. have you done some basic tests

cable connections and cables…. ok ---shiny and solid at the batt and motor

battery ok ? are you ok with a voltmeter ? following +12 and ground is simple enough without a diagram

what voltage do you see on the batt follow red black cables to the engine and remeasure etc....

All fuses?....I retired in 1991, however I see no reason to change the 20 amp fuse location in the years since. That fuse would be inline with one of the smaller RED wires leading from the starter solenoid... it supplies 12v to the battery terminal "B" of the ignition switch etc.

If that routing has been changed, I'd appreciate another member advising me of it.

Yeah.... I think I retired at just about the right time.I studied that diagram for a bit of time and all I could think about was the term overly sophisticated.A very intelligent person once related to me many years ago, back in the early 1960's. He said in all seriousness "Sophistication breeds problems". Something I never forgot. That diagram... is that something "Von Braun" dreamed up before he passed?

Joe....they moved the fuse.....

On the port side of the motor, aft of the starter and fuel pump, you will see a plastic "box" or electrical connection panel.
It will have a cover on it held on by three screws. The screws are for plastic threads. Very coarse.....
Above that "box" you will see a large red tab sticking up. That is the fuse holder. Pull the tab up, pulling the fuse out. Replace if needed.

( Maybe it pulls straight out....hard to remember right now.)

Ah-Ha!... Thank you very much Dasel. And I know I can take that as Gospel. Good to hear from you once again.
