1998 ebbtide 182 4.3 cracked block

I have a cracked block 4.3 vortech that cracked in the lifter valley im trying to change.Im an auto mechanic,so imguessing there is something bolted to the flywheel.Im putting in a 99 s10 4.3 so any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance,Junior

Pull the outdrive. unhook wires and hoses. 2 motor mounts in the rear,2 on the front. Lift engine out. There is no tranny bolted to it...

I have pulled many V-8's out and I just did my first 3.0 pull tonight and it was even easier. I also forgot to mention that you need to disconnect the power steering lines (if applicable) and the 2 hose clamps on each riser...
