1998 Alpha 1 Gen 2 Gear Ratio (Serial# OL113587)

Hi, I have a 1998 Chaparral Signature 30’ with twin 4.3l 4 barrel carbureted Vortec engines. The drive units are far too corroded to determine the gear ratio on the drive and the decals are gone. There are 24 teeth on the drive gear and 24 teeth on the driving gear. What is the gear ratio?? Hopefully someone can determine from the serial number??

24-24 (in the top housing under the cap) would indicate 1.61 on an alpha. However I do believe the 24-24 was also used with another lower gearset to achieve a 2.0 ratio....

0L113587 would have been a MERCRUISER ALPHA Gen 2, with a 1.62 gear ratio, model number 5121300LS from new.​
