1998 35 mercury

98 merc 35 runs great idle and half throttle but if you run it wide open it dies. Re-starts fine but once you floor it it dies.<br />Any ideas?

I'll try this while someone else throttle's it. If this helps do think it might be the filter or fuel pump?
