Both motors start and idle fine. When you are trying to get on a plane the port motor stalls going dead but sometimes will pick back up. If I throttle up slowly and keep the load on the starb motor it doesn't stall and once on a plane it runs with no problem. Was thinking electrical problem since it is a sudden stall but reading other posts it may be a fuel prob. Please help. Changed water seperators with no change in performance. Where do I start?

Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Make sure your low pressure fuel pumps are good as I've heard they need to be replaced often. Also make sure your VST filter is clean.

The 3 low pressure fuel pumps keeps your VST full of fuel which is sorta like a small gas tank on your engine. The injectors gets the fuel from this tank and is also where the oil is mixed. Do some searching for low pressure fuel pumps and VST on the ox66 and you'll find lots of info.

I have the 2001 model so I've read quite a bit on it, but haven't experienced the problem yet. Good luck....I'm no expert but saw no one has replied.
