1997 WaveRaider

I have a 1997 WaveRaider model # RA700BV I just Bought this and ask the owner about the grease fitting for the Impeller bearing and he said he just pumped about 20 pumps of grease in it does this sound right are Should I be worried <br /><br />Do any of you guys have a Owners Manual you can upload Thanks

Yamaha uses sealed berrings in the pump so I don't know exactly what you are talking about

I have a '94 Waveraider, I was wondering the same thing!! The owner & service manuals just show the grease fitting as a lubrication point, doesn't tell me "how much" to lube it. I put in about a dozen pumps with the grease gun and hope it's enough.<br /> BTW, the manuals are written in "Jenglish"... Japanese translated somewhat to English!! Pretty amusing to read, but not a lot of important info!!!

I would guess you are greasing the driveshaft seal and coupler not the pump
