1997 SeaRay 240 Sundancer Max. RPM

I recently had the manifolds replaced on my 1997 Searay 240 Sundancer. The owner's manual states that maximum RPM should be approximately 4200-4400 RPM. After the repair I am only getting 3900-4000 RPM. Does anyone know why this may be? Thanks.

Greetings, you may have better luck posting this particular question in the engine forum?.those guys seem pretty dialed in to the more technical issues. If you don?t mind, what did the replacement of your manifolds run?
