1997 seadoo GS CDI Swap? how hard?

I've got 2 seadoo gs machines, Same year. one has a blown emngine, the other a blown cdi box. Can I swap the good cdi box for the bad to make 1 running machine?

sometimes yes it depends on what the model code is and what engines and accessories you have on each one.
